The theme of our Fall 2016 concert stems from the 2016–2017 season marking our 10th anniversary! In some ways, it seems like just yesterday when Calliope was formed, but we also know how how much we've grown over the last decade.

Everything on the program for September's performance is related in some way to the number 10. To name a few examples: the Mozart oratorio Davide Penitente, which has 10 movements; "The Aviary", the 10th movement from Saint-Saëns's Carnival of the Animals; and Irving Fine's choral "Design for October" (the 10th month of the year) from The Choral New Yorker. The concert even takes place on September 10th! It's not too soon to purchase your tickets—you can buy them online here.  Click here for our August newsletter, which includes more information about our 10th anniversary celebration.
